Clinical eUpdate for smeartakers 2015: HPV – What health professionals need to know and communicate

(30 Jun 2015)

This clinical eUpdate will provide smeartakers with an opportunity to keep their knowledge base up to date with best practice in cervical screening, in line with recent developments in the CervicalCheck programme.

The update, which will be accessible online, focuses on the significant recent change in May 2015 for smeartakers – reflex HPV testing for the triage of low grade abnormalities in primary care. It encapsulates the content of the series of clinical updates sessions delivered to doctors and nurses in a number of regional locations during April 2015.

The Clinical eUpdate is recognised by ICGP and NMBI:

  • 1.5 external CPD credits approved by ICGP
  • 0.5 GMS study session points and 2 CEUs approved by NMBI.

To access the module, select Services Screening learning portal from the Health professionals page and follow Primary Care  > CPD accredited courses  > Clinical eUpdate 3(2015) or click here: Clinical eUpdate 3(2015)
