Guidelines for QA in Cervical Screening, second edition (March 2014)

(02 Mar 2014)

The second edition of the NCSS Guidelines for Quality Assurance in Cervical Screening has been released. The Guidelines set out the quality requirements and standards for each component of the cervical screening programme: Primary Care, Cytopathology, HPV Testing, Colposcopy, Histopathology and the Programme Operations. The revision process added additional requirements and standards, modified the targets for a number of existing standards, and removed guidance content which is now contained in other programme publications.
