The cyber attack on our IT systems has caused disruption to our services. To give us some time to check the safety of our processes, we are asking that you defer all screening appointments booked for this week (18-21 May).
For the week of 17-21 May we ask that you:
- Contact your patients booked in for screening and defer their appointments
- Reassure your patients that it is safe to wait a little longer for their screening test
- Do not take any new samples
- Continue to return any samples you have taken to date
For the moment we are unable to issue your patients’ screening test results to you. We are asking you to defer your appointments this week to enable us to complete a risk assessment and ensure the safety of your patients.
As this is an evolving situation, we will update you by Friday 21 May with further information on sample-taking, for the week beginning 24 May.
